Start Day Minus 2

Hello Everyone!

Sarah and Laura - Ready, Steady, almost GO

On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, we will begin driving across the USA. We will start at the Route 66 sign on the Santa Monica Pier and hop our way across Los Angeles, up the Cajon Pass, and into Barstow.

Today, Laura, our friend Sarah, and I walked around the 3rd Street Promenade, also known (to people born mostly before 1980) as the PeeWee Herman mall. We looked in shops and did some spinning. It was fun.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down (1960'-70's ad tag line for a toy). When you sit in these chairs, you are certain you are about to go crashing back on your head, but instead you roll around like a bug stuck on its back.
